3D Atlas '99 - The Multi-Media Corporation.
I got to lead the design of this title after working on the previous iteration, 3D Atlas '98 by Creative Wonders, an arm of Electronic Arts.
It was a firm favourite with its rich graphics and presentation. The goal of this version was to minimise the interface and put more emphasis on the manipulation of the globe. Opposed to the previously static elements surrounding the globe, I took a modular approach to the interface, providing a fully collapsable working area, allowing the explorer to get the most of large global views, a popular request from numerous feedback sessions.
An interesting fact, I composed the music for the opening sequence of this application. Unfortunately it resides on an old optical disc with no means for retrieval.
Future Fantastic - The Multi-Media Corporation.

Rough Guides - BBC Worldwide.
A prototype developed in Macromedia Director that demonstrated the possibilities in the emerging area of interactive Television.
